Amplifi.io assists brands in arranging, refining, and share their product content across various marketplaces.

Project Brief

The business required a centralized solution to manage e-commerce marketplace connections and attributes mappings across multiple platforms.

The existing process—spreadsheet uploads and manual configuration—was error-prone, slow, and non-scalable.

Requirement:

Design a module within Amplifi.io’s System that allows:

  • Creating and managing marketplace connections
  • Mapping product attributes between the platform and each marketplace
  • Automating syndication while ensuring accuracy and reducing manual errors

Business Challenges

Inefficient Operations: Manual, spreadsheet-driven workflows increased turnaround time and risked data inconsistencies across marketplaces.

Scalability Limitations: The existing system couldn’t efficiently support new marketplace integrations or growing product volumes.

Lack of Visibility: Teams had limited insight into connection health, sync status, and data accuracy, affecting operational confidence.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Defined the UX strategy and end-to-end design for the module, aligning user needs with business goals.
  • Led user research and synthesised findings into personas, empathy maps, and journey maps to guide design decisions.
  • Created intuitive user flows and prototypes, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technical feasibility.
  • Conducted usability testing and design validation during implementation to maintain UX quality and business impact.

 

To tackle these challenges, I applied the Design Thinking methodology to balance business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility. Through its five stages, I transformed complex workflows into a streamlined, scalable, and intuitive marketplace management experience.
